AgentRefund is a site that allows home buyers and sellers to get a rebate on their real estate transactions.
AgentRefund refers the client to a partner agent through our partner ReferralCloud, which in turn receives a referral fee for working with the client. After closing AgentRefund returns a percentage of the closing money back to the buyer or seller.
How do Real Estate Rebates work?
A real estate rebate is a commission that a real estate agent returns to the buyer or seller of a property. The commission is typically a percentage of the sale price, and it is paid by the seller to the listing agent and then shared with the buyer’s agent. In some cases, the listing agent may choose to give a portion of their commission back to the buyer as a rebate. This can be done in the form of cash or credits applied to closing costs. Rebates are legal but they may be restricted by state laws.
Real estate rebates are allowed in most states, however, we are not allowed to pay rebates in states that prohibit any rebates from being paid to buyers or sellers in a transaction.

The refund is only allowed if your lender approves of the cash rebate and it is disclosed on the HUD-1 Final Settlement statement.
